Year 11 Hot Chocolate Celebration Marks the End of Mock Exams

This week, our Year 11 students rounded off their mock exam season with a well-deserved treat - a special hot chocolate celebration during Mill Time. After several weeks of revision, resilience, and determination, it was a wonderful opportunity for students to pause, relax, and enjoy a warm drink together.

Despite the cold, wet Bolton morning, the atmosphere was filled with smiles and relief as students gathered to celebrate the completion of an important milestone in their GCSE journey. Staff were on hand to congratulate them, recognising the commitment and positive attitude they have shown throughout the mock exam period.

Assistant Principal Alex Dowell shared his pride in the year group, saying:
 

“I’m so proud of our Y11s for all their hard work and endeavour during the mock exams. On a cold, wet morning in Bolton, it was wonderful to see them enjoying a well-deserved hot chocolate during Mill time to lift their spirits!”

The event not only rewarded students for their efforts but also encouraged them to stay motivated as they move into the final stretch of the school year. We look forward to continuing to support our Year 11s as they prepare for their upcoming GCSE examinations - and celebrating many more successes along the way.
