Year 11 Celebrate in Style at The Balmayna

June 18th 2026, our Year 11 Class of 2026 celebrated the end of their journey at King's Leadership Academy Bolton with a fantastic Prom at The Balmayna. For the second year running, the venue provided the perfect setting for an evening full of celebration, laughter and unforgettable memories.

Students arrived in true red-carpet style, making a spectacular entrance in an array of stunning dresses, sharp suits and luxury cars. The atmosphere was one of excitement as friends came together to celebrate the end of five memorable years.

Throughout the evening, students enjoyed great food, music and dancing, alongside a number of light-hearted awards recognising both students and staff. Congratulations to Barbara S and Ismail D, who were voted Most Likely to Work at King's – a title we hope may one day become reality! Staff also joined in the fun, with Ms Williams and Mr Vaughan receiving the award for Most Likely to Be Late to Lessons, much to everyone's amusement.

Guests were treated to heartfelt speeches from Ms Nadia and Mr Roberts, who reflected on the achievements of the year group and wished them every success as they move on to the next chapter of their education. The Prom Committee also delivered a fantastic speech and presented a range of student awards, adding a personal touch to an already special evening.

A highlight of the night was the crowning of our Prom King and Queen. Congratulations to Ismail Mosin P and Aisha H, who were deservedly crowned by their peers.

The evening was a fitting celebration of a remarkable group of young people who have shown resilience, determination and character throughout their time at King's Leadership Academy Bolton. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and have no doubt they will go on to accomplish great things.

Congratulations once again to the Class of 2026. Thank you for an unforgettable evening, and we wish you every success and happiness for the future.
